(Už to mám sepsané anglicky a nechce se mi to překládat. Zkouška byla pro mě v češtině, minulý rok na game designu měli všichni angličtinu iirc.)

Exam is really similar to game design - you get two "large" questions and one "small". I got "Attitudes", "Loss aversion" and "Player profiling".

For attitudes we talked about what they are, how they affect people, explicit vs implicit attitudes, how are they measured, how do they relate to games. Also asked about some war games I know and how they affect attitude, which lead to comparing CoD and This War of Mine.

For loss aversion we talked about what it is and how it manifests, some example usages (casino chips), how it affects games (lack of ever losing progress in RPGs and such), then he asked about framing and endowed progress, in particular about the progress cards from the lecture and about how RPGs tend to have fast level gains at the start.

For player profiling we talked about what it is and about things Barbaros talked about on his lecture - Bartle's 4 player types and general personality profiling (and why it is useless), and the web questionnaire thing we did as homework. He asked about why player profiling is useful to gamedev, I replied that I don't really know how I would use it, to which he asked how it could be helpful when I'm updating a long-running f2p-like game (it can help you tailor the game more to your actual audience for retention).

Overall, he asked helpful questions and the whole exam was more of a discussion. At the end, he asked for feedback about the subject, same as in ther game desing exam.

I don't actually know how many points I got from the exam, I had almost all homework points and so I got grade 1.

Also note that this was probably the first ever exam from this subject, things will likely evolve in the future.
